READING, Pa.– The FDU indoor track and field team headed out to Alvernia University for the first day of the MAC Indoor Championships.
Devils Highlights
- Starting off the day, sophomore Meghan Kreinberg placed 12th in the 60m hurdles prelims with a final time of 10.26. Following Kreinberg, junior Nashawn Presley competed in the 60m prelims where he placed 17th with a final time of 7.24. Rounding out the track events, the men's 4 x 200m relay team placed ninth overall in their event. The team, comprised of sophomore Alex Coles, first year Anthony Collier, and juniors Nathaniel Evely and Presley, finished with a final time of 1:35.21.
- In the field events, Collier shows success once again for the Devils in the high jump event. He placed eighth overall, scoring a point for FDU with a final height of 1.88 meters. Close behind him, Coles finished 11th in the event with a final height of 1.78 meters. Finally, Collier continues his impressive day by finishing the long jump event with a final distance of 5.91 meters.
How it Happened
- Overall, the Devils had four top 15 finishes, including two top 10 finishes.
