BETHLEHEM, Pa.– The FDU indoor track and field team faced off in the Hounds Classic held at Lehigh University Saturday morning.
Devils Highlights
- Kicking things off for the Devils, junior Briella Bagnato once again broke the FDU record for the 3000m event. Placing 9th overall, she finished with a final time of 11:29.51, having beat her previous record by five seconds. Following Bagnato, senior Bianca Burke placed 7th in the 400m event with a final time of 1:01.47. In the 200m event, junior Nathaniel Evely placed 7th, having tied his own school record with a final time of 23.38.
- Later on in the meet, Burke once again had a good placement for the Devils, having placed 11th with a final time of 27.45. First year Cole Brinkmann bolstered the team's strong showing with a 9th place finish in the 5000m event, completing the event with a final time of 20:33.33. Rounding out the meet, sophomore Meghan Kreinberg added two second place finishes to the day in both the Shot-Put event and the High Jump event. In the Shot-Put event, she finished with a final distance of 12.16m while in the High Jump event, she finished with final height of 1.58m.
How it Happened
- Overall, the Devils had two top three finishes, as well as six top ten finishes to round out their meet.
