MADISON, N.J. – The FDU-Florham men's basketball team fell to Stevens 76-56 Saturday afternoon at home. 
 
DEVILS HIGHLIGHTS

• Chris Smith led all Devils scorers with 13 points on 6-of-10 shooting and added four assists. 
• Noah Pagan was FDU's only other double digit point scorer, recording a double-double with 12 points on 6-of-17 from the field and 10 boards. 
• Mac Creek recorded nine rebounds. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Devils took an early 9-3 lead after a dunk from Smith but a quick 8-2 run from the Ducks knotted the game at 11 apiece by the 15:22 mark.
• Stevens held a 21-15 lead with 11:53 to play in the first half, but a Jaqwan Washington trey followed by a jumper from Pagan put FDU within one, 21-20 at the 10:15 mark. 
• One point was the closest the Devils cut the lead in the first half as the Ducks went onto outscore FDU 17-5 and took a 38-25 lead into the break. 
• Frankie Denvir opened the second half with a triple to cut the Ducks' lead to 10, but a jumper from Stevens' Harmeher Chhabra extended the lead back to 12, 40-28. 
• The Devils cut their deficit to 48-36 with 15:01 left in regulation, but this was the closest FDU came, cutting it once again to 12 after a Washington layup at the 10:51 mark. 
• The Ducks went onto outscore FDU 21-13 down the final 10:00 of the contest.

GAME NOTES

• Saturday's game was Smith's 15^th game this season with double figure points. 
• Pagan recorded his third double-double of the season and second in a row.

The Devils return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 28 as FDU heads to Glenside, Pa. for a bout with the Arcadia Knights. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
