Orlando, FL – The FDU-Florham Devils Cheerleading team took part in the 2026 UCA National Championship last weekend at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, earning top 10 in Open All-Girl Traditional division, and a trophy win in the Open All-Girls Game Day category.
Mascots, dancers, and cheerleaders from colleges across the country converge on the Walt Disney World Resort to throw down their best performances of the season in front of the judges for a chance to be recognized at a national level.
FDU-Florham Cheerleading participates in two categories over the course of the weekend, including Open All-Girl Traditional and Open All-Girl Game Day where there are two rounds of competition, Semi-Finals and Finals. In the Open All-Girl Traditional, FDU Cheer placed 10th out of 17 colleges. And for the first time in program history, the team earned a spot in the finals of the Open All-Girls Game Day completion after placing 4th in the nation, and getting Top 5 in the Division Finals.
