Orlando, Fla. (January 21)- The FDU-Florham Cheerleading team competed at the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) College Nationals this past Friday and Saturday, January 17 & 18 down at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World Resort.
FDU was one of many collegiate cheerleading programs that competed down in Orlando. The Devils competed in the game day category which presents a fight song, sideline cheer and time out performance. They also competed in the traditional division for the first time in program history and placed 9
th in the nation with a event score of 52.3.
"This season we were able to compete harder skills and up the difficulty in both of our routines." stated Head Cheerleading Coach
Sara Sabol . " We are so proud of all the hard work these athletes put into this season. This team has accomplished so much and we're so excited for what the future holds."
After months of hard work, the team then had the opportunity to celebrate their success in the Walt Disney World Parks with the other incredible athletes.
