Madison, N.J. (May 22) – After a milestone 2024 campaign, the FDU-Florham football team and Head Coach
Anthony Van Curen are looking to carry their momentum into the 2025 season as they release the schedule for the program's 51st year.
The 2025 schedule features 10 total games, including one non-conference match up and nine Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) contests. The Devils will play an even split of five home and five away games.
FDU will kick off the season at home on Saturday, September 6, with a non-conference match up against St. John Fisher. Kickoff is set for noon at Robert T. Shields Field.
Conference play begins the following week when the Devils travel to Lebanon Valley on Saturday, September 13. They will then face defending MAC champions King's College on the road on September 20.
FDU returns home to wrap up the month with a Homecoming showdown against Stevenson University on Saturday, September 27.
Following a conference-wide bye week to start October, the Devils will alternate home and away contests throughout the remainder of the season. FDU visits Widener on October 11, hosts Delaware Valley on October 18, and travels to Albright on October 25.
The regular season concludes with two of the final three games at home. The Devils host Misericordia on November 1, travel to Eastern University on November 8, and return to Shields Field on November 15 for Senior Day against Alvernia.
The MAC champion will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Football Championship. Additionally, the conference will continue its annual Centennial-MAC Bowl Series, in which the second through fourth seeds will face their counterparts from the Centennial Conference based on final standings.
Last season, the Devils finished with a 7-4 record (.636), earning fourth place in the MAC along with qualifying and capturing their first-ever Centennial-MAC Bowl appearance, where they faced Dickinson College.
