Collegeville, PA (April 5) - The FDU-Florham Women's Track and Field team traveled to Collegeville, PA to compete in the Ursinus Track & Field Festival. 

Four runners competed for FDU in multiple events to begin the meet, including the Women's 100m, 200m, 400m, 1500m, 5000m, and 400m Hurdles. In the 100m, Brianna Fenderson (Edison, N.J.) competed for the Devils and finished in 23rd place with a time of 13.59. Bianca Burke (Bridgewater, N.J.) and Fenderson raced the 200m. Burke finished just shy of the podium in 6th place with a time of 6.52 while Fenderson finished in 22nd place, earning a time of 28.25. Burke also competed in the 400m, running a time of 1:01.72 putting her in 7th place. Alyssa Orio (Middletown, NJ) was the lone Devil who competed in the 400m Hurdles, as she finished in 18th with a time of 1:21.27. Kirushnavarshini Ranjan (Iselin, NJ) and Julia Flynn (Manhattan, N.Y.) competed in the 1500m, Ranjan earning a time of 6:05.17 in 50th and Flynn with a time of 6:13.65 putting her in 52nd place. Briella Bagnato (Allendale, N.J.) ran for the final race for the Devils in the 5000m, finishing in 14th place with a time of 20:30.83.  

In Fields events, the Devils participated in the Hammer Throw, Javelin, and Discus Throw. Brianna Flatt (Bridgewater, NJ) participated in the Hammer Throw, placing 23rd with a distance of 14.54m. Irem Ucar (Parsippany, NJ) and Sophia Navarro (Roxbury, NJ) competed in the Javelin Throw. Ucar earned 24th place with a distance of 23.39m and Navarro finishing in 35th place with a distance of 13.55m. In the final field event for the Devils, Ucar and Flatt competed in the Discus Throw. Ucar rounded out the day finishing in 24th place with a distance of 29.17 and Flatt finishing in 34th place with a distance of 19.79. 

FDU-Florham will continue their outdoor season as they travel to Ewing, NJ to participate in the TCNJ Invitational and Multi on April 10th-12th. Events are slated to begin at 12:00pm.
