Ewing, NJ (April 12) - The FDU-Florham Women's Track and Field team competed in the three-day TCNJ event as well as the Bill Butler Invitational. 

Six runners competed for FDU in multiple events to begin the meet, including the Women's 100m-prelims, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 100m Hurdles-prelims, and 400 Hurdles. In the 100m-prelims, Brianna Fenderson (Edison, N.J.) and Arianna Ronan () competed for the Devils. Fenderson finished in 29th with a time of 14.17 while Ronan finished in 31st with a time of 15.19. In the 100m Hurdle prelims and 400m Hurdle, Alyssa Orio (Middletown, NJ) was the lone Devil to represent as she finished in 11th place (19.23) in the 100m prelims and 12th in the 400m Hurdle (1:21.86). Fenderson also competed in the 200m for FDU as she ended in 16th place running a time of 28.65. Bianca Burke (Bridgewater, N.J.) raced the 400m, landing herself in 7th place with a time of 1:02.23.Kirushnavarshini Ranjan (Iselin, NJ) ran the 800m for the Devils, placing 33rd (2:55.62). Ranjan and Julia Flynn (Manhattan, N.Y.) competed in the final race for FDU as Rajan finished 46th (6:01.89) and Flynn in 49th (6:14.31) in the 1500m. 

In Field events, the Devils competed in the Hammer Throw, Javelin, and Discus Throw. Brianna Flatt (Bridgewater, NJ), Irem Ucar (Parsippany, NJ) and Gianna Chiffriller () participated in the Discus Throw. Irem finished in 16th (29.93), Flatt in 30th (19.55), and Chiffriller in 31st (15.26). Flatt finished in 31st place for the hammer throw with a distance of 14.36m. Sophia Navarro (Roxbury, NJ) competed in the final event for FDU, and earned 11th place in the Javelin Throw with a distance of 12.32m. 

While many Devils competed in Ewing, Briella Bagnato (Allendale, N.J.) traveled to West Chester to compete at the Bill Butler Invitational. She competed in the 10,000m, finishing with a time of 43:44.51. 

FDU-Florham will next hit the track & field at the All-American Invitational in East Stroudsburg, PA. Events will take place April 18-19th.
