Madison, NJ (April 12)- The weekend called for a MAC Freedom match-up between the FDU-Florham Devils Men's Lacrosse team hosting the USILA National Ranked #11 Stevens Ducks on Robert T. Shields Field, which resulted in a 24-loss for the Devils.

FDU-Florham (7-5, 0-3 MAC Freedom) had one player dip into both scoring efforts as Brenden Fabin (Randolph, NJ) added a goal and an assist to the box score for the Devils.

Stevens (9-3, 3-0 MAC Freedom) saw six goals come from Joseph Grippo on 14 shots taken.

Stevens began the game as an unstoppable force as they added six goals in the first 15 minutes and defended their half from FDU-Florham, as only six shots were taken.

The Ducks open the second quarter in a similar style as they added another six goals unanswered until Fabin notched the Devils' first with 2:50 remaining until the half ended, 12-1.

With a fresh 15 minutes, FDU-Florham was ready to turn the game around; however, Stevens did not let the Devils score until the final two minutes, when Jarrett Dugenio (Bridgewater, NJ) was put in scoring position off one of Fabin's passes for the second final goal of the day.

With the final quarter of play starting at a 21-2 score, Stevens slowed their scoring pace but kept the ball away from the home team. They managed to add another three goals before the final horn sounded at a 24-2 score, giving FDU-Florham the loss.

Throughout the full 60 minutes, Anthony Pieroni (Branchburg, NJ) (7-5) saw a multitude of shots and even notched a season-high of 20 saves.
