The Aggies opened the first half of gameplay with a 10-4 run against the Devils. Their strong offensive power from early in the game gave the Aggies a comfortable lead over FDU as they went on an 11-point answered run, bringing the score to 21-4 at the 12:39 minute mark. FDU baskets from Klueh, Koudou, and Christopher Smith (Florham Park, NJ) helped the Devils close the gap, taking the score to 25-11 at the 10:13 time stamp. The Devils worked to gain offensive possession, but they were not able to close the gap far enough to take the lead during the first half.
