Madison, N.J. (February 26)- As regular indoor season comes to a close, the FDU-Florham Women's Track & Field Program will look to the MAC Indoor Championships as it is being hosted by Alvernia on Friday, February 28
th to Saturday, March 1
st.
Three Devils look to represent in this year's event has they met qualifying marks in one of the eight regular season meets this season.
Last year, the Devils finished 15
th out of 16 teams competing and are projected to improve to 12
th overall in the pre-championship coaches' polls.
Below is a list of the events the Devils are slated to compete in, their best times in those events on the season and how they did at the MAC Championship last season.
Bianca Burke (Bridgewater, N.J.)- Junior
Events set to compete in: 200-meter dash, 400-meter dash,
Best individual marks this season:
- 60-meter dash; 8.28 (Susquehanna Early Season Invite)
- 200-meter dash; 27.58 (Big Apple Invitational)
- 400-meter dash; 1:00.93 (Dr. Sander Scorcher)
How they did at MAC Championships last season:
- 60-meter dash; 8.54 (21st overall)
- 200-meter dash; 27.71 (15th overall)
Meghan Kreinberg (Union, NJ)- First-Year
Events set to compete in: Pentathlon, High Jump, Shot Put
Best individual marks this season:
- 60-meter hurdles; 10.58 (SU Tune Up, February 17)
- High Jump; 1.55m (NYU DIII Invitational)
- Long Jump; 4.66m (PELX Shootout)
- Shot Put; 12.56m (NYU DIII Invitational)
How they did at MAC Championships last season:
- Did not compete last year
Alyssa Orio (Middletown, NJ)- First-Year
Events set to compete in: 60-meters hurdles
Best individual marks this season:
- 60-meter hurdles; 11.24 (Big Apple Invitational)
- 55-meter hurdles; 10.21 (Golden Bear Invitational)
How they did at MAC Championships last season:
- Did not compete last year
FDU-Florham kicks off MAC's on Friday, February 28
th with the overall event starting at 12:50pm.
