CAMDEN, N.J. – The FDU-Florham Devils women's basketball team was defeated during the second game of the Scarlet-Raptors Classic Tournament. Rutgers-Camden won 59-52 over the Devils.

  
Devils Highlights 

• My'Shayla Clancy led the team in scoring with 14 points and 4 steals

• Shannon Tighe followed behind with 11 baskets

• Gabrielle Walker notched 10 points 

• Bianca Sode, Christina Sullivan, and Kristen Mellon each ended the night with 4 points  

How it Happened 

• Rutgers-Camden opened gameplay with an 14-2 run over the Devils, taking the early lead in the first period 

• Sode, Mellon, Tighe, and Clancy led the Devils offensively in the first 10 minutes, closing the gap to 8-17 

• The Scarlet-Raptors kept a steady lead over the Devils during the second period 

• In the paint, Walker put up a 2-pointer to get FDU within a 7-point deficit at the half 

• With baskets from Christina Centeno, Walker, and Tighe, the Devils came within 3-points of taking the lead  

• FDU went on a 7-point unanswered run going into the fourth period, but the Scarlet-Raptors quickly responded

• A made layup by Clancy put the Devils within one-point of tying with Rutgers-Camden with 1:50 remaining on the clock 

• The Scarlet-Raptors finished the game with a 6-0 offensive run, defeating FDU 59-52

The Devils will return home on Saturday, November 22 to face Stockton. Tip-off is set for 1:00 PM.
