WAYNE, N.J. – The FDU-Florham men's soccer team shutout William Paterson 2-0 Wednesday night on the road. 

DEVILS HIGHLIGHTS

• Piotr Widerynski scored one goal on the night on a double assist from Nicolas Bustios and Ryan Maguire. 
• Landon San Martin scored FDU's second goal unassisted. 
• Goalkeeper Victor Ciach made three saves on the night. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Defense reigned supreme in the first half of Wednesday night's match as neither team found the back of the net. Ciach notched all three of his saves in the first half and the Devils offense only mustered four shots compared to William Paterson's six. 
• In the second half, the Devils came to life as FDU outshot the Pioneers 9-2 and 13-8 overall in the match. 
• Widerynski scored the first goal of the match on a corner kick as passes from Bustios and Maguire led to Widerynski finding the back of the William Paterson net in the 56'.
• Then in the 76', after another Devils corner kick, San Martin added to the FDU lead with an unassisted goal, his first of the year to seal the third straight win for the Devils. 

GAME NOTES

• Wednesday's match extends FDU's unbeaten streak to 10 matches in a row. 
• This was Ciach's fourth shutout of the year. 
• This was the ninth match of having 11 or more shots and the sixth match of having 10 or more shots on goal.

UP NEXT
The Devils return to the pitch on Saturday, Oct. 11 as FDU hosts King's College in a MAC Freedom match-up. Kick-off is set for 3 p.m.
