Dallas, PA (January 25) –  The FDU-Florham Women's Swimming team jumped in the pool of the Misericordia Cougars for their final regular season meet, but exited the pool with a 143-59 loss.
 
Katelyn Plank (Bridgewater, N.J.) was the only Devil to secure a first-place finish in the meet against the Cougars. Her nine points were collected in the 200 back with a time of 2:16.84. She was still on the podium for her second event as she placed 2nd in the 200 free with a time of 2:05.48.
 
Julianna Fazzio (Glassboro, NJ) swam her event in the hope of scoring points. She did as touched the wall in the 200 fly for a time of 2:20.24 and 2nd place, as well as the 200 free where she placed 4th recording a 2:07.37 for her time.
 
Jessica Mooney (Cranford, N.J.) controlled the distance events for the Devils as she competed in the 1000 free (12:34.27) and the 500 free (5:57.83) for 3^rd and 4th place.
 
Magda Konopka (Paramus, NJ) was another Devil who stood on top of the podium for all her events in the meet. Although she was not on the top platform, she stood in 2nd during the 50 free (25.25) and took 3rd in the 100 free (57.11).

Olivia Glenfield (Howell, MI) held her position on the second level of the podium in the 200 IM (2:21.89) and the 200 breast (2:35.12).  
 
Lauren Stone (Middletown, NJ) produced two 4th place finishes. She was seen recording a time of 26.78 in the 500 free and stopped her clock by touching the wall in the 100 free with a time of 1:00.06.
 
Caitlyn Kramaritsch (Roxbury, NJ) stood in 5th during the 200 free (2:11.76) and also collected the same amount of points in the 500 free (6:02.50) as she claimed 5th place again.
 
Gosia Swat (North Cadwell, NJ) was the seventh person in the 50 free to touch the wall (30.97). She was also the seventh person in the 100 free (1:10.19), but unfortunately both performances could no account for points in the meet.   
 
Ashley Smith (Tinton Falls, NJ) had a constant showing of placement as she notched the last points of the 50 free (28.76) and the 100 free (1:02.69) for 6th place.  
 
Shalma Lopez (Union City, NJ) swam in two events during this meet as the same with her teammates. The first year recorded a time of 2:58.56 in the 200 fly and a time of 2:39.93 in the 200 back, placing herself in 5th and 6th.  
 
Eve Amalfitano (Brigantine, NJ) followed in Swat's footsteps as her times in the 50 free (31.60) and 100 free (1:10.67) did not account for points as she placed 8th in both events.  
 
Olivia Case (Cream Ridge, NJ) time of  2:20.10 in the 200 back was good enough to place her on the podium for 3rd, but she was just shy of standing back upon it in the 200 fly as her time of 2:32.46 was good enough for 4th in the event.   
 
Isabel Thierman (Belmar, NJ) competed in her two events consisting of the 200 IM and the 200 Breast. In both events, the senior took 5th place with a time of 2:45.88 (200 IM) and a time of 3:03.62 (200 Breast).   
 
Relay events for the Devils saw Case, Glenfield, Lopez and Stone perform in the 400 Medley for a placement of 3rd and a collective time of 4:29.32. FDU had multiple teams in the 800 free but saw the quartet of Konopka, Plank, Kramartisch, and Fazzio place 2nd (8:34.01).
 
FDU-Florham now looks to the MAC Championships starting on Thursday, February 13 for their next competitive time in the pool. This year's Championships will be held by York.
