Madison, NJ. (September 11) - The FDU-Florham Field Hockey team put up a valiant effort against Muhlenberg, but ultimately fell to the Mules, 4-0.

The Mules got themselves on the board at 7:19 minute mark when Muhlenberg landed it's first goal in the first quarter, giving Muhlenberg the 1-0 lead all the way to the half. FDU-Florham saw multiple opportunities but were unable to get the ball past the Mules goalie. 

Muhlenberg extended their lead to 3-0 during the third quarter halfway through and again with two seconds left on the clock. 

Early in the fourth, the Mules added it's fourth goal at 46:55 timestamp, taking the score and the game to an overall 4-0 loss for the Devils. 

In goal for the Devils was Emily Schlessinger (Asbury, NJ) as she accounted four saves, but was given the loss before Adrianna Goodwin (Toms River, NJ) stepped in to record four saves. 

Muhlenberg's strong offense controlled the game, out shooting FDU 18-2 (15-1 on goal), while FDU led in saves 10-1. 

The FDU Devils will hit the road as they travel to take on William Patterson on Friday September, 14 for a 6:00 pm match up.
