Madison, N.J. (May 9)- The FDU-Florham women's track and field team is ready for action this weekend as they compete in the Eastern College Athletics Conference (ECAC) Championships on Friday, May 10.
 
This year's championship meet is being held at Stevenson University in Owings Mills Maryland. The Devils are coming off a 13^th of 15 teams at the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships. They saw two podium finishes with a silver medal at the conference championships.
 
Last year at the ECAC Championships, FDU-Florham saw each of its three competitors bring home medals with a gold, silver and two bronze medals being earned.
 
Below is a list of of the Devils that will be representing the Devils at the ECAC Championships, the events they are scheduled to compete in, their best marks on the season and how they did at the ECAC Championships last season.
 
 
Bianca Burke (Bridgewater, N.J.)- Sophomore
 
Events set to compete in: 200-meter dash, 400-meter dash
 
Best individual marks this season:

• 200-meter dash; 26.49 (MAC Championships, May 3).
• 400-meter dash; 59.66 (MAC Championships, May 3). Fifth Place (Podium Finish)

 
 
How they did at ECAC Championships last season:

• 100-meter dash; 13.29 (Third place finish, Bronze Medal)
• 200-meter dash; 26.96 (Third place finish, Bronze Medal)

 


Sarah Dougherty (Kinnelon, N.J.)- Graduate Student
 
 
Events set to compete in:  400-meter hurdles
 
Best individual marks this season:

• 400-meter hurdles; 1:04.93 (Coach Pollard Invite, April 19).

 
 
How they did at ECAC Championships last season:

• 400-meter hurdles; 1:06.09 (First Place Finish, Gold Medal).

 
 
 
Brianna Fasoli (Totowa, N.J.)- Sophomore


Events set to compete in: 100-meter hurdles, 200-meter dash

FDU-Florham will run all events on Friday, May 10 down at Stevenson University in Owings Mills, Md.
