Wilkes-Barre, Pa. (April 28)- The FDU-Florham women's track and field wrapped up the 2024 outdoor regular season as they competed in the Monarch Open on Saturday afternoon.
Bianca Burke (Bridgewater, N.J.) ran the top 200-meter time at the event when she clocked a 26.67.
Brianna Fasoli (Totowa, N.J.) and
Sarah Dougherty (Kinnelon, N.J.) both ran the 100-meter hurdles at the event. Fasoli placed second with a time of 16.60 while Dougherty, in her first run of the season in this event, picked up a MAC qualifying time of 16.69.
In the 100-meter dash,
Arianna Ronan (White Plains, N.Y.) placed 13
th with a time of 16.02, followed
Jyseniyah Francois (East Orange, N.J.) who clocked a 16.65 for a 14
th-place finish.
In the discus,
Irem Ucar (Parsippany, N.J.) threw for 26.00m (85' 4") that placed 11
th while
Briana Flatt (Bridgewater, N.J.) finished 17
th with a mark of 20.98m (68' 10").
FDU-Florham will now compete in the MAC Championships at York University with the first day starting on Thursday, May 2.
