Madison, N.J. (February 22)- Sophomores
Bianca Burke (Bridgewater, N.J.) and
Brianna Fasoli (Totowa, N.J.) will be the dual entrants for the FDU-Florham women's track and field team as they head to the MAC Championships in Reading, Pa. on Friday, February 23 and Saturday, February 24.
Last year, the Devils finished 15
th out of 15 teams competing and are projected to do the same this season.
Below is a list of the events Burke and Fasoli are slated to compete in, their best times in those events on the season and how they did at the MAC Championship last season.
Bianca Burke (Bridgewater, N.J.)- Sophomore
Events set to compete in: 60-meter dash, 200-meter dash
Best individual marks this season:
- 60-meter dash; 8.28 (Susquehanna Early Season Invite)
- 200-meter dash; 27.58 (Big Apple Invitational)
How they did at MAC Championships last season:
- 60-meter dash; 8.54 (21st overall)
Brianna Fasoli (Totowa, N.J.)- Sophomore
Events set to compete in: 60-meter hurdles, 200-meters dash.
Best individual marks this season:
- 60-meter hurdles; 10.58 (SU Tune Up, February 17)
- 200-meter dash; 28.40 (Alvernia Winter Invite)
How they did at MAC Championships last season:
- 60-meter hurdles; 9.88 (18th overall)
- 200-meter dash; 27.39 (13th overall)
FDU-Florham kicks off MAC's tomorrow with the 60-meter dash and hurdles preliminaries. Preliminary times will determine if the competitor move on to the finals on Saturday's Finals races.
