Madison, NJ (December 6 &7 ) – In a two-day visit to Drew for the Ranger Invitational,  The FDU-Florham Women's Swimming Team collected 191 points to claim second place out of the three teams that competed.
 
Jessica Mooney (Cranford, N.J.) competed in two freestyle events and two backstroke events. She saw her best finishes of 4th place in the 500 free (5:59.04) and the 200 back (2:28.22). The Junior then placed 6th in the 100 back (1:08.44) and fell to 13th in the 200 free (2:17.27).
 
 Katelyn Plank (Bridgewater, N.J.) touched the wall in the 50 free with a time of 25.15 and was able to secure 2nd. She later took 3rd in the 100 back with a finish of 1:02.61 on the clock and rounded out top-five finishes with 4th-place in the 200 free with a timestamp of 2:07.16. A time of 55.99 and 12th place closed out her final event in the 100 free.  
 
Magda Konopka (Paramus, NJ) saw the only 1st-place victories for the women as a time of 24.64 in the 50 free and a time of 54.51 in the 100 free, both good enough to break the school record. The remainder of her events consisted of a 10th-place finish in the 200 free (2:01.98) and a 4th-place finish in the 100 breast (1:11.33).

Olivia Glenfield (Howell, MI) finished her events with the top 7 times. She claimed 6th place in the 200 IM (2:19.67) and 100 breast (2:38.61). Glenfield made it to the top 5 in the 200 breast (2:38.61) for fourth place, and closed her performance with a 2nd-place finish in the 400 IM (5:04.04).
 
Brynn Kelly (Pequannock, NJ) only competed in three events and managed a time of 6:31.12 in the 500 free for 6th, while the 100 fly and 100 free had her finishing 8th with times of 1:17.39 and 1:06.91.   
 
Junior Lauren Stone (Middletown, NJ) clocked a time of 26.63 in the 50 free after taking 6th place. The 100 free placed Stone in 7th with a time of 59.88. Her performance in the 200 free did not count for points but she finished with a time of 2:13.64. He final event of the invitational was the 100 breast and she capped an 8th-place finish with a time of 1:17.66.

Caitlyn Kramaritsch (Roxbury, NJ) mostly swam in the freestyle events including the 50 (27.16 for 7th), the 200 (2:11.81 for 6th), and the 100 (59.56 for 6th). Her weekend was closed with a 10th-place finish in the 100 back for a time of 1:08.90, which did not account for any points overall for the Devils.  
 
Gosia Swat (North Cadwell, NJ) light day in the pool recorded her in the 50 free for 10th place and a time of 30.27, as well as a 9th place finish in the 100 free with a time of 1:09.24.
 
Ashley Smith (Tinton Falls, NJ)  was seen touching the wall with a time of 27.40 in the 50 free where she placed 8th. The 100 free seemed to provide a better result of 5th overall and a time of 59.26. Smith's freestyle events were concluded at the 200 free where she placed 7th for a time of 2:13.97.  Her final event was the 100 breast, where she did account for points with a time of 1:24.05 for 14th.
 
Shalma Lopez (Union City, NJ) competed In the 50 free (28.78) and claimed 9th, touching the wall in the 200 free (2:22.10) for 8th, finished the 100 back (1:15.02) for 7th, and rounded her day competition with the 100 free (1:04.42) in 10th place.  
 
Eve Amalfitano (Brigantine, NJ) held times in the 50 free (32.96) and 100 free (1:14.41) with placements of 12th and 11th. She also competed in the 100 breast with a time of 1:35.52 for 11th overall.
 
Olivia Case (Cream Ridge, NJ) found a top-five placement of 3rd in the 200 back (2:20.41) but was not able to hold anything closer, as she came in 5th in the 100 back (1:05.36). Case was also seen in the 100 fly (1:07.89) for 6th and the 200 IM (2:31.53) with a placement of 7th.
 
Naia McGinn (Pleasant Borough, NJ) was one of the final Devils to touch the wall in the 50 free (32.33) but improved to 10th overall in the 100 free (1:11.33), the 100 back (1:22.49) for 8th, and the 200 free (2:40.46) for 9th.
 
Julianna Fazzio (Glassboro, NJ) took 2nd in the 200 fly with a time of 2:26.83, and also found a time of 1:02.76 for 3rd In the 100 fly. She then touched the wall for 4th in the 100 free with a time of 58. 57, and closed her events with a placement of 14th in the 50 free with a time of 26.26.
 
Isabel Thierman (Belmar, NJ) was one of the final Devils to collect points by placing 5th in the 200 IM (2:53.50) and 8th in the 200 breast (3:09.48). Her next best finish was the 100 breast with a time of 1:25.30 and a finish of 10th overall, and her final event was seen with a time of 2:33.96 in the 200 free for 14th.
 
The Devils had many relay and medley teams to supply during the invitational. The first was the 200 medley relay and saw Plank, Fazzio, Glenfield, and Konopka finish 2nd (1:54.56), Mooney, Case, Stone, and Smith finish 5th (x2:04.87), and finally Lopez, Kelly, Thierman, and Kramarisch finish 6th (x2:12.80).
 
The 200 free relay saw a team of Plank, Fazzio, Stone, and Konopka complete the event with a time of 1:41.93 for second. A quartet of Smith, Kramarisch, Glenfield, and Case claim 4th place with a time of 1:47.18 and Mooney, Kelly, Lopez, and Swat round the event with 6th place and a time of 1:57.67.
 
In the 400 medley, Plank, Fazzio, Glenfield and Konopka claimed 2nd yet again with a time of 4:18.13. FDU's second team of Mooney, Case, Stone, and Smith took third for a collective time of x4:38.35, leaving Lopez, Kelly, Thierman, and Kramaritsch in fourth with a time of x5:06.25.
 
A team of Plank, Fazzio, Konopka, and Stone took 2nd in the 400 free relay (3:45.30). Placing fourth was Glenfield, Case, Smith, and Mooney (x4:05.11). and capping off the event were Kramartisch, Kelly, Lopez, and Thierman with 5th overall (x4:28.51).
 
FDU-Florham looks to jump back into the pool on Saturday, December 14 at 1:00pm, when they travel to William Paterson.
