Chester, PA (November 17) – The FDU-Florham Women's Swimming team (3-1) was handed their first loss of the season after traveling to Widener and receiving a 116-89 score from the Pride.
 
Jessica Mooney (Cranford, N.J.) was the lone Devil to compete in the 1000 free for the second meet in a row. The junior clocked a time of 12:29.70 for third and also claimed third place in the 500 free with a time of 6:11.09.  
 
 Katelyn Plank (Bridgewater, N.J.) claimed first place in both of her events as she touched the wall in the 200 free with a time of 2:01.59 and a time of 2:20.71 in the 200 breaststroke.  
 
Magda Konopka (Paramus, NJ) was the second Devil of the day to claim first place in both of her events with times of 56.05 and 25.03 in the 100 and 50 free.

Olivia Glenfield (Howell, NJ) touched the wall in the 200 IM with a time of 2:18.21 for second place but saw improvement from her last meet. Glenfield claimed victory in her second event, the 200 breaststroke, with a time of 2:36.63.
 
Brynn Kelly (Pequannock, NJ) was one of five athletes to slice through the water in the 1000 free, as she took fifth to a Pride swimmer with a time of 13:32.15. She also was seen in the 500 free and touched the wall for a time of 6:41.72.  
 
Junior Lauren Stone (Middletown, NJ) clocked a time of 26.94 in the 50 free after taking second place next to her teammate. She also was seen in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:49.77 for fourth place.  
 
Caitlyn Kramaritsch (Roxbury, NJ) competed in the 200 IM and secured a sixth place finish (2:39.26) and a seventh place finish in the 200 backstroke (2:35.70).
 
Gosia Swat (North Cadwell, NJ) was seen in the 50 free and finished with a time of 31.00 for seventh place for her only event of the meet.

Ashley Smith (Tinton Falls, NJ) took fourth place after touching the wall for a time of 59.90 in the 100 free in her only event.

Shalma Lopez (Union City, NJ) time did not count for points in the 200 free as she placed seventh with a time of 2:24.12.

Eve Amalfitano (Brigantine, NJ) placed eighth in the 50 free after recording 33.86 and also took eighth in the 100 free with a time of 1:15.83.  

Olivia Case (Cream Ridge, NJ) touched the will in the 200 fly with a time of 2:33.02 and a placement of fifth. She also claimed fifth in the 200 back after recording a 2:22.15.

Naia McGinn (Pleasant Borough, NJ) was the final Devil to record a time in the 200 IM (3:14.19) as she placed seventh and took the same placement in the 100 free (1:13.94).

Julianna Fazzio (Glassboro, NJ) was seen taking fifth place in the 200 free when she clocked a time of 2:16.50. The senior also took third place in the 200 fly after see a time of 2:29.62 come across the timing board.
 
The Devils were able to form a relay team to compete in the 200 medley which consisted of Glenfield, Case, Karmaritsch, and Stone who put together a time of 2:00.38 for second place. The next relay consisted Konopka, Plank, Fazzio, and Smith who claimed first in the 200 free relay after setting a time of 1:43.69. FDU's second relay consisted of Mooney, Lopez, Kelly, and Swat who took fifth with a time of 2:00.59.
 
FDU-Florham looks to a short trip for their next meet, as they are set to compete in the Ranger Invitational hosted by Drew on Friday and Saturday, December 6 and 7.
