Center Valley, PA. (October 30) - The FDU-Florham Field Hockey Team were defeated by the DeSales Bulldogs, 1-0 in overtime.

The Bulldogs lead the first two quarters of the contest offensively with 11-6 shots (7-3 on goal) while the Devils took over the third quarter with 6-1 shots, 3 of them being on goal. While both teams offense worked to get on the board, Devils and Bulldogs defense held strong with neither team allowing a score.  
 

The FDU Devils fought hard against the DeSales Bulldogs for four long quarters, but neither team was able to convert their shots on goal, which led the game into overtime. 
 

At the 62:37 minute mark in overtime, the Bulldogs were able to score on the Devils, ultimately defeating them 1-0.  
 

Throughout the match, the Devils collected 19 penalty corners and had 7 of their 14 shots on goal. In goal for the Devils, was Emily Schlessinger (Asbury NJ) as she saved 10 of the 11 shots taken on goal by the Bulldogs. 
 

The FDU-Florham Devils will play their final game of the season at Arcadia on Saturday, November 2nd for a 1:00pm start.
