Field Hockey Falls to Arcadia, 3-0

Glenside, PA. (November 2) - The FDU-Florham Field Hockey Team falls to Arcadia in their final MAC Freedom Conference match of the season. 
 

Records: FDU-Florham (6-12); Arcadia (12-7)
Location: Glenside, PA (Jean Lenox West Field and Delran Pavilion)   
 

During the first quarter, the FDU Devils fought hard to get on the board, but the Arcadia Knights beat them to it. The Knights were able to convert 1 of their 4 shots into a goal in the first quarter following another one in the second. FDU was not able to convert any of their plays into points and ended the second quarter with a score of 2-0.  
 

After halftime, the Devils and Knights fought hard, but the third quarter was scoreless for both teams. The Devils pushed the Knights offense, leading in penalty corners 2-0, but none were converted. In the final quarter, Arcadia continued to press offensively, scoring another goal and ultimately defeated the Devils, 3-0. 
 

In goal for the Devils, was Emily Schlessinger (Asbury NJ) as she saved 12 of the 15 shots taken on goal by the Knights.
