Wilkes-Barre, Pa. (October 26) – The FDU-Florham Men's Soccer team were defeated by King's (Pa,), 2-1 in non-conference action.
Drilon Toska scored the one goal for the Devils.

The first half was mostly silent from both teams, as both teams had opportunities but could not convert with their shots. That was until just over three minutes left on the clock, at 41:55, with one King's player finding another Monarch with no one in front of him, who dribbled it to the net and slotted it into the bottom left corner to give the Monarchs a 1-0 lead. When the first half ended, the score remained the same.
Once the second half started, FDU clawed back, when at 66:12, the two Lincoln Park residents
Genti Dauti (Lincoln Park, NJ), and
Drilon Toska (Lincoln Park, NJ) connected, with Dauti finding Toska on a free kick to even the game at one a piece.
Sadly, with less than five minutes left In the match, at 85:39, One Monarch's player found another on a free kick, and the ball was headed into the net to give King's a 2-1 lead. That ended up being the game winning goal, and King's defeated FDU 2-1.
Victor Ciach (Ringwood, NJ) played in net for the Devils, and performed admirably, earning five saves.
The match was pretty much even with both shots and shots on goal, with FDU having the slight edge on overall shots (15-14) and shots on goal being dead even (7-7). King's had more corner kicks (7-4) and also committed more fouls (9-2).
The Devils will continue their road trip against MAC Freedom opponents, as they will travel to Doylestown, Pennsylvania to take on Delaware Valley on October 29
th at 7:00 PM.
