Madison, NJ. (October 16) - The FDU-Florham Field Hockey Team fell to Stevens during their second MAC Freedom Conference match of the season, 4-1.

After a scoreless first quarter, the Stevens Ducks were able to make it on the scoreboard in the second quarter at the 24:58 minute mark. The FDU Devils were unable to get any shots on goal during the first two quarters, resulting in a 1-0 Stevens lead at the half.  

Stevens continued their offensive lead as they brought the score to 2-0 in the beginning of the third quarter. The Devils defense tried to keep the Ducks away from the goal while the offense pressed, trying to get on the board.  

During the fourth quarter, Julianna Medina (Linwood, NJ) got the Devils on the board as she landed a goal to the back of the cage assisted by Dominique Rodriguez (Pittsgrove, NJ) at the 48:56 minute mark. FDU continued to make 2 more shots on goal, but they were not converted. The Ducks landed two more goals, bringing the final score of the contest to 4-1. 

In goal for the Devils, was Senior Emily Schlessinger (Asbury NJ) as she saved 13 of the 17 shots taken on goal by the Stevens Ducks. 

The FDU-Florham Devils will next travel to Lebanon Valley on Saturday, October 19th for a 1:00pm match up.
