Reading, Pa. (October 19) – The FDU-Florham Men's Soccer team tamed Albright 4-2 in their last non-conference action of the season.
Christian Adame scored a hat trick, while
Genti Dauti also scored a goal.

The first half was quiet from both sides. The Devils had more opportunities, having 14 shots to Albright's 3, but both goalkeepers did their job, and when the game reached halftime, the score was 0-0.
It wouldn't stay that way for long, as the Devils struck twice in the first five minutes of the second half. At 48:27, a shot from
Drilon Toska (Lincoln Park, NJ) that was saved landed right at the feet of
Christian Adame (Passaic, NJ), who tapped it into the net to give the Devils the 1-0 lead. Not even a minute later, at 49:14,
Irfan Kermalli (Parsippany, NJ) received a pass, then passed it himself to
Genti Dauti (Lincoln Park, NJ) who unleashed a bullet into the top right corner to give FDU the 2-0 lead.
After some more back-and-forward action, at 60:08, Toska danced around a defender and passed to Adame once again, who smashed it passed the keeper to give the Devils a comfortable 3-0 lead.
Adame completed his hat trick at 68:35, when two quick passes from
Johnny Gurrieri (Wanaque, NJ) and
David Ciach (Ringwood, NJ) went to Adame who shot it into the net for his third goal of the night, and to give the Devils a 4-0 lead.
Albright scored two goals in the final 20 minutes of the match, the but the result was never in danger, as when the clock struck zero, FDU picked up the win against Albright, 4-2.
Victor Ciach (Ringwood, NJ) and
Simon Yanez (Union, NJ) split duty in net tonight, with the former earning four saves and the latter earning one.
FDU dominated both shots overall (30-17) and shots on goal (16-7). Albright earned one more corner kick (4-3) while also picking up more fouls (10-8).
The Devils will return home on October 19
th to continue their matchups against conference opponents as they will take on Lebanon Valley at 3:00 PM.
