Location: Dallas, Pa.: Manglesdorf Field
FDU Goal Scorers:

The match started with Misericordia being the stronger team, earning five shots in the first 15 minutes of play. However, at 15:08, it was the Devils who got on the board first, as
Ferid Zaku (Wayne, NJ) received a pass at the 20-yard line of Manglesdorf Field, dribbled up a couple of steps, and sniped the top left corner of the net from a difficult shot to give FDU the early 1-0 advantage.
The Devils held Misericordia scoreless for the majority of the half. They were looking to keep the lead into the second half, but with seven seconds left in the first half, a Cougar found another up ahead on the through ball, and with no one to beat, he slapped it into the net to tie up the game at one entering half.
Early in the second half at 51:10, when after a volley of passes, a Misericordia player found another, and the pass was hit out of the air from a Cougar player's boot and past the keeper to give Misericordia a 2-1 lead. That goal ended up being the decider as both defenses held one another up, and as the clock hit zero seconds, Misericordia picked up the win against FDU 2-1.
Victor Ciach (Ringwood, NJ) had a productive game in the net, racking up 3 saves. Misericordia had more shots overall (15-9) but the Devils had more shots on goal (6-5). Both teams had an even number of corner kicks (3-3). FDU was the more physical of the physical team, picking up more fouls (8-5).
