Madison, NJ (September 19) – The FDU-Florham men's soccer team downed Valley Forge, 3-1 on Tuesday afternoon to remain unbeaten on the season.

The Devils got the scoring going first in the 25
th minute of the game when
Irfan Kermalli (Parsippany, NJ) notched his third goal of the season, placing the ball into the back of the net to give FDU the early advantage.
Trying to score before the half,
Faizan Arshad (Boonton, NJ) was able to find
Jonathan Shirley (Lincoln Park, NJ) for his first goal of the lead with just over a minute to go in the first half at the 43:59 timestamp.
The rest of the days scoring came in the final minutes of the game as the Devils extended their advantage to 3-0 on a goal from
Oliver Trujillo (Bridgewater, NJ) at the 87:42 mark. The Patriots avoided the shutout and put a goal on the board with just six seconds left to go in the game with a goal from Kellen Preston.
Anthony Petrucci (West Orange, NJ) played a majority of the in goal to get the win while making three saves.
Tawhed Sherifi (Boonton, NJ) came in for relief Petrucci late in the contest.
The Devils outshot the Patriots 7-6 with both teams finding four shots on goal. FDU had all the corner kicks in the contest with four.
FDU-Florham is back on Robert T. Shields Field for the next three matches starting with a home contest against Cairn on Saturday, September 23. Kickoff is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm.
