Madison, NJ. (September 16) The FDU-Florham Field Hockey hosted Shenandoah for Saturday afternoon action that resulted in favor of Shenandoah, with a score of 4-0.

It was a cool, sunny day to play field hockey as both teams took the field for non-conference action. Neither team was able to find the back of the cage in the first quarter. Shenandoah, however did, Â as they started to pick up the pace with 8 shots, forcing six saves for the FDU goalkeeper,
Emily Schlessinger (Asbury, NJ).
Shenandoah's first goal came three minutes into the second quarter and was scored by Madison Short. The Hornet's second goal was scored before the half expired in the 33-minute of the game, by Mairead McKibbin.
Following the half, both of Shenandoah's goals came in the fourth quarter and was both scored by Farren Winter in the 48th minute and the 51st minute of the game to help secure the 4-0 win over the Devils.
FDU-Florham keeper,
Schlessinger, made a total of 17 saves in today's contest, with four saves in the third quarter, and adding on five additional saves in the fourth quarter.
The Devils will host Gwynedd Mercy on Monday, September 18, at 7pm, as the make-up date from September 9.
