Box Score Union, NJ (March 31)- After defeating Saint Elizabeth the day before, the FDU-Florham women's tennis team was stalled in its matchup at Kean (4-0), 6-3 on Friday evening.

The Devils started with a 2-1 lead after Maggie Cronkhite (Deep River, Conn.) and Ella Olsen (Holmdel, NJ) took an 8-6 win at No. 1 and Kiana Rosa (Haledon, NJ) and Paula Vanegas (Union City, NJ) notched a doubles victory at No. 3.

Heading into singles play, Cronkhite was defeated by Samantha Paine Luu in the No. 1 while Olsen answered with a 10-4 win in the No. 2 to keep a 3-2 advantage. The Devils could not keep the edge however as they dropped the next four singles matches to suffer a 6-3 defeat.

FDU-Florham opens MAC Freedom play Sunday, April 2 as they travel to King's (Pa.) for an 11 am start.
