Madison, NJ (March 25) – The FDU-Florham women's tennis team opened its spring season with a 9-0 setback at Drew University this morning. The Devils are now 0-2 on the year, while the Rangers moved to 5-1 overall.
 
At No. 1 doubles, Maggie Cronkhite (Deep River, Conn.) and Ella Olsen (Holmdel, NJ) were able to take one game, but fell by an 8-1 final. Drew won at both No. 2 and No. 3 doubles by 8-0 scores.
 
The Rangers won all six singles matches in straight sets including by 6-0, 6-0 scores at both No. 1 and No. 2 singles. At No. 3 singles, Ashley Gaetani (Ridgefield Park, NJ) was able to win a pair of games in each set, but dropped the point 6-2, 6-2, to Natalia Zamora.

FDU-Florham will travel to Saint Elizabeth University on Monday, March 27 for a non-conference matchup with the Eagles.
