Boston, MA. (November 18) – The FDU-Florham women's basketball team traveled up to Boston, MA. for the Emmanual Collage Tip-Off Tournament and faced Ithaca for their first game of the weekend. The contest resulted in favor of the Bombers as Devils lost by a score of 94-46.
FDU-Florham moves down to a 1-2 overall record, while Ithaca improves to a 2-1 overall record.
First year,
Neysa Aguilar (Middlesex, NJ), contributed another twenty-two-point game to the Devils offense and added three rebounds with two assists.
Julia Vasquez (Bound Brook, NJ) was also in double digits as she added 12 points and five rebounds to the Devils' stats

Ithaca had three players in double digit scoring, as the Bomber's leading scorer was Annabella Yorio who collected a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Ithaca jumped out with the led early in the first quarter as they went on a 16-2 scoring run in the first four minutes of action.
Aguliar tried to help her team close the gap by scoring five of her twenty-two points in the first quarter.
Christina Centeno (Bayonne, NJ) sank a three-point shot to help build the momentum for the Devils early in the second quarter. However, the Bombers kept extending their lead as they were knocking down shots to take the score to 47-18 before heading to the locker rooms at half time.
Defense held strong for the Devils as they came back from half time and did not let Ithaca score until three minutes had passed in the third quarter. On the offensive side, FDU-Florham recorded a field goal percentage of 40.0-percent (8-20), to make it the best scoring quarter of the game with 20 points.
Ithaca claimed it's largest led over the Devils in the four quarter with a 48-point difference. The Bombers ultimately handed FDU-Florham their second loss of the season with a 94-46 final score.
FDU-Florham shot 24.6-percent (17-for-69) from the floor, 20.0-percent (4-for-20) from three point range and 72.7-percent (8-for-11) from the free throw line, while Ithaca shot 45.5-percent (40-for-88) from the floor, 23.8-percent (5-for-21) from three point range and 64.3-percent (9-for-14) from the free throw line.
Ithaca scored 22 points in the paint, 11 points off FDU-Florham turnovers and 27 points off the bench.
FDU-Florham will remain in Boston and will face St. Joseph's- Long Island at 1pm on Sunday, November 19, for their final game in the Emmanual Collage Tip-Off Tournament.
