In the second MAC Freedom matchup of the year between the Devils and Dutchman, many shots were taken, but only a few were recorded for the Devils as they took aim twice in the first half.

Lebanon Valley struck with intensity as they record 14 shots in the first half and were able to see two of those shots being converted to goals.

The first goal for Lebanon Valley came in the 10th minute of the match as Aaron Weitzel was assisted by his teammate to give the early 1-0 lead.

In the 32nd minute of the match, Dutchman, Nathan Prex, upped the score to 2-0. FDU-Florham's Oliver Trujillo (Bridgewater, NJ) took a shot with four minutes to play in the half, in hopes of cutting the score, but was just shy of the upper left corner.

It showed that the Devils became more comfortable on Herbert Field, as they recorded five shots in the second half. Lebanon Valley still held the advantage in shots with 13.

Lebanon Valley's third goal of the match was scored in the 69th minute by Abass Ndiaye who was assisted by his teammate. The Devils final attempt of the day came from Christian Adame (Passaic, NJ) as he aimed for the bottom center but it was saved by the goalie.

FDU-Florham took the opportunities that were presented, but overall fell to a 3-0 loss.

Graduate student goalkeeper Anthony Petrucci (West Orange, NJ) was kept in goal for the entirety of the match and recorded eight saves.

FDU-Florham's next game will be hosting Gwynedd Mercy on Monday, October 9 at 7pm, as a non-conference make-up game from September 9.
