The FDU-Florham and Ramapo field hockey teams went back and forth for all minutes of regulation play. Until 
Morgan Keller (Toms River, NJ) fired in the game-winning goal for the Devils as they took the win against Ramapo, 1-0 on Wednesday night.

There was a standstill for 60 minutes tonight, as both teams failed to score in regulation time. FDU-Florham ended the night with 5 shots on goal, and Ramapo totaled 6. The Devils had a total of 11 penalty corners, 7 of which were in the third quarter. Ramapo tallied 8 on the night. Neither team was able to capitalize on a penalty corner until the contest went into overtime.
The winning goal occurred in overtime after 
Megan Surgent (Wall, NJ) passed the ball off a penalty corner to Keller at the top of the arc, she fired the shot straight to the back of the cage for the win.
 
Goalkeeper 
Emily Schlessinger (Asbury, NJ) got the win in the cage for the Devils as she made six saves and earned her fourth shutout of the season.
 
FDU-Florham will be hosting Arcadia University for their next contest on Saturday, October 7th. Saturday's game will be on Robert T. Shields Field at 1:00 p.m. This contest will be FDU-Florham's Morgan's Message Awareness game, bringing recognition to student-athletes' mental health.
