Williamsport, Pa. (April 23) – The FDU-Florham women's tennis team earned a 5-4 victory at Lycoming College in MAC Freedom action this afternoon as the Devils improved to 6-4 overall and 2-2 in league play.
FDU won both contested doubles points as
Kayla Dello Iacono (Moodus, Conn.) and
Nicole DelRosso (Summit, NJ) topped Hannah Seebold and Rei Saar, 8-2, at No. 1, while
Maggie Cronkhite (Deep River, Conn.) and
Erin Weller (Pitman, NJ) defeated Wiliana Lundy and Emily Wolfgang, 8-4 at No. 2.
The Devils won three of five contested singles matches to secure the 5-4 victory. DelRosso bested Seebold, 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1, Dello Iacono defeated Wolfgang, 6-4, 6-1 at No. 2 and Weller topped Lundy, 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 at No. 3.
FDU will host King's College (Pa.) in MAC Freedom action tomorrow morning at 11:00 am for Senior Day
