Madison, NJ (April 20) - The FDU-Florham men's lacrosse team fell to Arcadia University, 21-5, in MAC Freedom action on Wednesday evening. FDU dropped to 3-9 overall and 1-4 in MAC Freedom matchups, while Arcadia improved to 10-3 and 6-0 in league games.

The Devils fell behind early as the Knights sprinted out to an 8-1 lead in the first quarter. Seven different goal scorers tallied for Arcadia, while
Brenden Fabin (Randolph, NJ) cashed in his first of the night on the assist from
Brian Stewart (Narbeth, Pa.).

In the second and third quarters, the Devils could not convert shots into goals until Stewart scored his first of the night with 15 seconds left in the third. FDU got goals from Stewart and
Ronnie Trisuzzi (Rockaway, NJ) on the man-up in the fourth but it was not enough to overcome the Arcadia attack.

As a team Arcadia held the advantage on shots (61-28), ground balls (54-27), face-offs (21-9), and clears (23-for-25).

Dan Schlupp (Holland, Pa.) stood tough making 16 saves for the Devils, while
Trevor Arnone (Poughkeepsie, NY) won nine face-offs at the X.
MacGyver Hay (Mays Landing, NJ) caused a game-high four caused turnovers and tallied a team-high five ground balls. FDU went 20-for-25 on clearing attempts.

The Devils will return to action on Saturday where they host Misericordia University in MAC Freedom play at Robert T. Shields Field.
