Madison, NJ (April 20) – The FDU-Florham women's tennis team fell to DeSales University by an 8-1 final in MAC Freedom action this afternoon on the FDU Tennis Courts. DeSales improved to 8-3 overall and 3-2 in league play, while the Devils dropped to 5-4 overall and 1-2 in MAC Freedom games.
DeSales took points at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles after the Bulldogs earned a point on a forfeit win at No. 3 doubles.
Nicole DelRosso (Summit, NJ) picked up the lone win for the Devils at No. 1 singles as she topped Kirsten Kosa in three sets, 2-6, 6-3, 10-6. DeSales won in straight sets at No. 2, No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 singles and won by forfeit at No. 6.
FDU will travel to Lycoming College on Saturday, April 23 at 1:00 pm for another MAC Freedom contest.
