Hoboken, NJ (November 3) – The fourth-seeded FDU-Florham men's soccer team fell to top-seeded and #4/4 nationally-ranked Stevens Institute of Technology, 3-0, in the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) Semifinals at the DeBaun Athletic Complex.
FDU-Florham (9-5-5) will now await word of a potential berth to the 2022 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Tournament, while Stevens (15-0-2) will host third-seeded Lycoming College in the MAC Freedom Championship on Saturday evening with the winner receiving a the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Tournament.
As a team, Stevens held a 21-5 advantage in shots (10-2 on goal), while both teams produced five corner kicks apiece.
Stevens scored the first goal of the game in the 25th minute as Bruno Andino finished a through ball from Michael Gomez for the 1-0 edge. With less than two minutes remaining in the opening stanza, the Ducks doubled their lead when Fritz Kabeisman potted his second goal of the season of a rebound in front of the net.

Christian Vriones (Butler, NJ) nearly knotted the match up at 1-1 as he attempted to finish a one touch pass off a free kick, but the ball just nicked the crossbar and went out of play.
In the 61st minute, the host Ducks put the game out of reach as Michael Gomez registered his first goal of the season after he dribbled through the Devils defense.
Tonight marked FDU-Florham's 11th appearance in the MAC Freedom Semifinals and first since the 2017 campaign.
