Men's Soccer Blanks Delaware Valley, 2-0

Doylestown, Pa. (October 8) – The FDU-Florham men's soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to eight matches as today the Devils earned a 2-0 Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) win at Delaware Valley University.

Just ten minutes into the game, FDU-Florham found the back of the net as first-year Ryan Maguire (Toms River, NJ) crossed the ball into sophomore Irfan Kermali (Parsippany, NJ), who finished for his fifth goal of the season.
 
Prior to the break, FDU-Florham added its second goal of the game as Maguire posted an unassisted tally for his second goal of the season and the 2-0 lead at halftime.

In the second half, both teams combined for just one shot as FDU-Florham came away with the 2-0 road conference victory. In net, Devils keeper Tiernan Grey (Staten Island, NY) was not forced to make a save, but improved to 6-2-3 on the year. Grey's shutout tonight was his third straight and sixth of the season.

Statistically, the Devils led 15-2 in shots (7-0 on goal) and 9-1 in corner kicks.
 
FDU-Florham will return to Madison for a MAC Freedom matchup with DeSales University on Tuesday, October 11 at 7:00 pm.
