The Spartans knocked in its two goals at the 2:37 and 7:36 marks. Junior Katie Martino put in the first goal off a penalty corner from sophomore Riley Buschert. Junior Maycee Collison fired in the second goal on a shot just inside the circle.
FDU's defense held its own the rest of the way, but could not find a lot of opportunities on offense being limited to only four shots on the day.

Emily Schlessinger (Asbury, NJ) got the nod in goal and recorded eight saves in her third start of the season.
FDU gears up for a postseason push as it hosts Misericordia Monday, October 31 for the MAC Freedom play-in game at 7:00 pm.
