Box Score Madison, NJ (September 4) – The FDU-Florham women's tennis team fell to Rutgers-Camden on Saturday in the fall season opener for both squads.
Nicole DelRosso (Summit, NJ) was responsible for both points for FDU in today's contest. She teamed up with
Erin Weller (Pitman, NJ) at No. 1 doubles and defeated
Samantha Hoban and
Laurel DiStefano by an 8-3 score. Rutgers-Camden took the number two doubles point 8-3 and won at No. 3 by default.
Then in singles, DelRosso topped
Sarah Ahrens in three sets 3-6, 6-1, 10-8. Rutgers-Camden won at number two, three, four and five singles in straight sets and won six by default.
