Madison, NJ (September 25) – The FDU-Florham men's tennis team earned a 6-3 win over Farmingdale State University on Saturday afternoon on the Village Tennis Courts.
FDU went up early as the Devils took two of three doubles matchups.
Jacob Mostoller (Mullica Hill, NJ) and
Neall D'Adamo (Denville, NJ) topped the No. 2 pairing from Farmingdale State, 8-3, while
Ronald Duval and
JT Murray (Bayville, NJ) blanked Ethan Cintron and Vincent Manzi, 8-0, at No. 3 doubles
In singles play, FDU secured the victory by winning at No. 3, No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6.
Zach Puccia (Red Bank, NJ) earned a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 3,
Brandon Schwartz defeated Mario Contreras, 7-5, 6-2 at No. 4,
Matthew Emery (Howell, NJ) shutout his opponent, 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5 and
Kaya Esgun (Maplewood, NJ) eased by Michael Josefak, 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6
FDU men's tennis will play at Immaculata University on Tuesday, October 5 in its final dual matchup of the fall season.
