Farmingdale, NY (September 18) – FDU-Florham men's soccer forward Ricky La Stella (Bridgewater, NJ)secured a non-conference win today over Farmingdale State University on the road with his goal with 1:18 left in the first overtime session.

First Half:

• FDU registered the lone goal of the opener half just ten minutes into the match as Christian Vriones (Butler, NJ) finished a pass into the box from Diego Stanziola (Kenilworth, NJ). The was the second of the season for Vriones.

Second Half:

• Farmingdale State tied the match in the 50th minute after Carlos Rivera converted a penalty kick.
   
• In the 74th minute, Oliver Trujillo (Bridgewater, NJ) once again gave FDU a lead on an unassisted strike from ten yards out but just 12 minutes later, Farmingdale's Anthony Machado found the equalizer sending the game into overtime.

OT:

• Farmingdale State registered a pair of shots in the overtime session, but it was La Stella, who finished a pass from Stanziola securing a 3-2 road win for the visitors.

 
FDU keeper Tiernan Grey (Staten Island, NY) made five saves in net for the Devils as he pushed his record to 4-2-1. 
 
FDU returns home for a non-conference match with Albright College at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 22.
