Luy arrives in New Jersey after five years at Division III Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas. The FDU men's and women's track and field programs are slated to start for the start of the 2022-23 academic year.

"I am very excited to announce Kendall Luy as our first track and field coach in program history. "I look forward to supporting her vision and watching our program develop and thrive under her leadership. I am very excited to welcome Kendall to the Devils Family and cannot wait for her to hit the ground running."

While at Schreiner, Luy served as the head coach for the Mountaineers men's and women's track and field programs from 2017-21. "I am honored and grateful to be named as the very first Head Track and Field Coach at FDU-Florham. I want to thank Jenn Noon and the rest of the hiring committee for giving me the opportunity to lead this program," said Luy. "This is an exciting time for Fairleigh Dickinson University athletics and I am looking forward to being a part of that and building an all-around competitive track and field program."

Prior to her time at Schreiner, Luy coached men's and women's cross country and and men's and women's track and field at now Division II Frostburg State University. Luy began as a graduate assistant for the Bobcats in 2008 and was promoted to an Assistant Coach for all six teams in 2011.

Luy competed as a Division III student-athlete at Susquehanna University for four years and earned four varsity letters as a member of the women's track and field program in Selinsgrove, Pa.
