MADISON, NJ (April 3, 2021)- FDU Men's Lacrosse hosted Hood College at Robert T. Shields Field on Saturday afternoon, falling in a non-conference matchup, 14-5. 

Recap
Hood jumped out to an early 5-0 lead, before FDU struck back. The Devils scored two straight goals off the stick of senior Tyler Garcia thanks to an assist from sophomore Zane Johnston and senior Drew Bukowiec, man up. With a 5-2 lead, the Blazers took over, scoring seven of the games next eight goals to take a 12-3 lead. The lone goal scorer for FDU in that run was Johnston with his first of the game. Each team would add two more goals before play concluded, with Bukowiec and Garcia adding their second of the game. Hood completed the 14-5 victory. 

Lead Devils
Garcia and Bukowiec led the way for the Devils, finishing with two goals a piece.

Defense
Junior MacGyver Hay had a great day on defense, causing 12 turnovers and scooping up three ground balls.
