Madison, NJ (December 2) – Thanks to the generosity of our fans, families, friends and alumni, the FDU-Florham Department of Athletics raised $31,957 from 137 different donors on Giving Tuesday earlier this week.
As a department, FDU-Florham finished second in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Fundraising Challenge which took part alongside league members Messiah University, Stevenson University, Arcadia University, Albright College and Hood College.
Our student-athletes participate at the highest level of intercollegiate competition while excelling in the classroom. Our student-athletes on the Florham campus compete in a wide range of sports, showcasing their academic and athletic successes — they proudly represent FDU on and off the field.
Your gifts have a direct, lasting, and positive impact on today's student-athletes. A gift to support Devils Athletics provides academic support, equipment, supports recruitment efforts, offsets travel expenses, and makes possible facility enhancements and upgrades that ensure that today's Devils are able to carry on the traditions that make Devils Athletics unique.
This fall, our teams had one of the best seasons in school history. The football team won its first Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) bowl game in program history after a 6-4 regular season, the field hockey team reached the championship game of the Division III ECAC Tournament, the women's cross country team won three invitationals, saw
Bridget Lapham earn Second Team All-MAC honors and individually win the ECAC Championship meet, the men's tennis team saw
Matthew Emery win a singles title at the MAC Individual Championship for the first time since 2008 and the men's golf team hosted its first tournament in program history at Medham Golf & Tennis Club.
Five of our fall teams finished the fall with records at or above .500 and had five teams participate in postseason action. Your donations go a long way in supporting our student-athletes, coaches and staff and make our programs here at FDU-Florham the best they can possibly be.
