New Paltz, NY (October 5) – The FDU-Florham field hockey team fell to New Paltz, 4-0, in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday afternoon. The loss pushed FDU's record to 7-4 overall, while New Paltz improved to 8-2.

New Paltz scored one goal in each quarter in today's game as the Hawks won it by a 4-0 final. Hannah Ackerman scored her fourth and fifth goals of the season for New Paltz as she scored in the sixth and 18th minutes.
Morgan Woolley and Amanda Quennville accounted for the final two goals of the game for New Paltz.
New Paltz out shot FDU, 20-8 (14-8 on goal), while FDU held a 9-4 advantage in penalty corners.

Megan March (Glen Burnie, Md.) made eight saves, while over a span of nearly 43 minutes, Ryan Dowling made five saves for the hosts.
