Hoboken, NJ (October 27) – A goal by Stevens with six minutes left in regulation was the difference in today's Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) matchup as the Devils fell to the Ducks, 1-0.
With the result today, FDU-Florham will be the third seed in the upcoming MAC Freedom Tournament and will travel to Misericordia University for the conference semifinals on Wednesday, November 3. Stevens secured the top seed and will host Arcadia on the same day with the winners advancing to the championship game on November 6.
Stevens came into today's match fifth in the second edition of the NCAA Division III Region IV rankings.

Neither team could find the back of the cage until the 55th minute when the Ducks finally broke the scoreless tie. Emily Smart played the ball to Brynn Froehlich, who tipped the ball into the net for the 1-0 lead.
Stevens held FDU to just three shots in the first half and without a shot in the second half. In total Stevens out shot FDU, 17-3 (7-2 on goal) and held an 8-3 advantage in penalty corners.
FDU will head to Misericordia for the MAC Freedom semifinals on Wednesday, November 3. Time of the match is still to be determined, but will be released later this week. Earlier in the season, the Cougars topped the Devils, 3-1, in Dallas, Pa.
