Glenside, Pa. (October 19) – Arcadia University scored once in each half as the Knights topped FDU-Florham, 2-0, in a Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) match tonight at Jean Lenox West Field.

Arcadia scored just 13:21 into the match as Cole Gordon found Steven Warren inside the box. Warren shot the ball off the hands of
Tiernan Grey (Staten Island, NY) and into the net for the early 1-0 lead. FDU attempted the tie the match right away and forced Arcadia keeper Jake Varrato to make two quick saves, but the score remained 1-0 at halftime.
The hosts outshot the Devils, 15-5, in the second half and were able to find the back of the net with less than three minutes to play for an insurance goal as Chris Fletcher scored off a corner kick by Duncan O'Connor.
Arcadia held a 21-10 advantage in shots (9-3 in goal) and a slim 4-3 margin in corner kicks.
FDU will round out its regular season schedule with two games at home over the next eight days. The Devils will host Misericordia University on Saturday, October 23 at noon and then will host Stevens on Wednesday, October 27 at 7:00 pm. FDU will honor its seniors prior to Saturday's contest against the Cougars.
