Williamsport, Pa. (October 16) – The FDU-Florham men's soccer team fell by a score of 3-1 in a Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) matchup at Lycoming this afternoon.

Lycoming scored once in the first half and twice in the second half before FDU could score its first goal as the Warriors came away with the 3-1 win. In the tenth minute, Dylan Sloan fed the ball to Cam Laubach from midfield and finished the shot for the 1-0 edge.
Less than a minute into the second half, Lycoming doubled its lead when Joe Bamfo scored his fourth of the season with a shot into the left corner of the net. The Warriors capitalized on a foul by FDU in the 58th minute as Julia Elguera headed in the free kick by Sloan for the 3-0 advantage.
FDU tried to rally late in the match but just ran out of time.
Oliver Trujillo (Bridgewater, NJ) scored the lone goal of the match for the Devils off a pass by
Ricky La Stella (Bridgewater, NJ) in the 70th minute.
Lycoming out shot FDU, 21-6 (11-4 on goal) and held a 5-2 advantage in corner kicks.
FDU will play its final road game of the regular season next Tuesday, October 19 at 7:00 pm against Arcadia University.
