HILTON HEAD, S.C. (March 12, 2019) - The FDU-Florham men's tennis team fell to Division II Quincy University 9-0 Tuesday afternoon.
With the setback, the Devils are now 2-2 on the season.
FDU found themselves in a 3-0 hole after doubles play. At the No. 3 flight, sophomore

Michael LaNeve fell 8-0, while rookie
JT Murray and junior
Chris Fiorenza dropped an 8-1 decision at No. 2 doubles. The best match of the day was at No. 1 double with junior
Kevin Weller and senior
Rich Bennett dropping a hard-fought 9-7. The duo went to deuce multiple times before falling heading into singles play.
Bennett was topped in straight sets 6-1, 6-1 while Weller fell 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 singles. Freshman
John Bricker and senior
Brendon Urbano each won two games at No. 3 and No. 6 singles respectively, with Murray falling 6-1, 6-2 at No. 4 singles.
